- Two meters (actions plus vendor credits) make monthly cost hard to forecast; this is the most cited complaint on G2 and Capterra.
- Reviewers say multi-agent setups need real technical skill despite the no-code label. The EU/UK region is in London, outside the EU.
n8n
- The learning curve is the top G2 drawback. Error handling, sub-workflows and data mapping often need JavaScript.
- No permanent free cloud tier, and SSO, SAML and advanced roles only start on Business at €667 a month. Self-hosting in production means Docker, SSL and upkeep on your side.
Relevance AI or n8n: the verdict
n8n wins for a technical team, especially one that must keep data in the EU or wants flat, per-run pricing. Relevance AI wins for a non-technical team that wants to build agents from templates and start free. Both are builders: someone on your team has to design, test and maintain what runs.

One execution is one complete run of a workflow, no matter how many steps it has. Starter includes 2,500 a month, Pro 10,000, Business 40,000. If you go over, workflows keep running and overage may be charged.
What are Relevance AI actions and vendor credits?+
Actions count what an agent does. Vendor credits pay for the model behind it. Free has 200 actions; Pro 2,500 plus $20 in credits; Team 7,000 plus $70. Top-ups cost $80 per 1,000 actions.
Which one keeps data in the EU?+
n8n Cloud stores data in Frankfurt, Germany, and n8n GmbH is a Berlin company. Relevance AI's EU/UK region is in London, which is not in the EU.
Is there an option with no building at all?+
