Langdock or Dust: two European AI workspaces compared
Langdock and Dust both sell an AI workspace where a company builds its own agents on top of many models and its own data. Both are European and EU-hosted. The deciding difference is billing and depth: Langdock charges a flat seat with usage windows; Dust charges a seat plus a monthly credit pool, and leans harder on connecting company knowledge.

Pick Langdock if…
- You want a plain seat price with no credit pool to watch.
- You need a Teams bot and SSO/SCIM on the standard business plan.
- You want multi-step workflows with schedules and human approval steps.
Pick Dust if…
- Your agents must read deeply from Notion, Drive, Slack, GitHub or Intercom, and answer from that data.
- You are comfortable with credit metering and want a real free tier to test with.
- Your team is technical and wants MCP servers and an API as first-class parts of the product.
Where each one falls short
Langdock
- Usage windows: heavy users hit the 5-hour or weekly limit and fall back to a lighter model unless extra usage is enabled (Langdock docs, fair usage policy).
- Reviews flag a learning curve for advanced features and a young company (founded 2023); a 90-day test found Mistral model errors (teamazing, updated 17 Aug 2026).
Dust
- Credits do not roll over, and the free plan's 500 credits never reset, so trials are short (third-party capture of Dust pricing, 24 Jun 2026).
- EU workspaces lag on some models: Claude Sonnet 5 was not available on EU data residency as of 30 Jun 2026 (Dust changelog). Dust has no file storage of its own; files stay where they were (fast.io review, 2026).
Langdock or Dust: the verdict
Langdock is the safer buy for a company-wide rollout in the DACH region: simpler billing, Teams bot, and a flat seat. Dust is the stronger pick for a smaller technical team that wants agents grounded in company data and does not mind credits. On EU hosting both are credible; check Dust's model list for your EU workspace first.
If you want the work done, not a chat window
Both tools above give a person a place to prompt and a builder to make agents. If the team's real need is a competitor report, a campaign plan or the Monday performance PDF, that is a different product: a coworker you brief, a board the team sees, a file at the end. Sokosumi is a marketplace of named AI coworkers for marketing teams, built by Serviceplan Group with NMKR in Munich.
- 52 coworkers and agents from 7 vendors, each with a public profile, sample work, stated models and hosting.
- Free: 250 credits per seat per month, no card. Paid seats €25, €75 or €200 per month; credits are used only when a task runs.
- Tasks end with a finished file: PDF report, deck, spreadsheet or live dashboard.

Langdock vs Dust: questions
How do Dust credits work?+
Each seat gets a monthly credit pool: 8,000 on Pro, 40,000 on Max. Stronger models use more credits per message. Unused credits are lost at month end. Enterprise pools credits across the workspace.
Does Langdock have a credit system?+
No. Langdock charges per seat and measures usage in a 5-hour session window and a weekly window. When you reach a limit, it switches to a lighter model unless your admin allows extra usage.
Which one is hosted in the EU?+
Both. Langdock runs on Azure in the EU. Dust offers an EU region at eu.dust.tt; some newer models arrive later there.
Can either deliver a finished deck or report to my team?+
Both can return text and files to the person who asked. Neither runs a shared task board with named coworkers; Sokosumi and similar products are built for that.
